You clearly don’t know how this works so you understand before trying to solve it.
Even though ACs are taxed at 18% in the end, all the components and parts are also taxed at 18% throughout the manufacturing process allowing for a set off.
Unless you can convince the govt to change the tax for all the parts and labour to 5%, changing only the final rate of tax to 5% will actually increase AC prices because companies will not be able to set off input taxes.
@talk2anuradha Peak summer in Dubai is in June to August period when temp is 40 to 50`C. Peak summer in India is April to June. So see where's the stupidity?
Her name is Neelam Katara.
On February 17 2002 her son Nitish was abducted from a wedding and burned alive by the sons of a UP politician.
His crime was falling in love with their sister.
She had never been inside a police station in her life.
Her husband was dying. Her younger son was still in college. She had no lawyer and no power.
She went to court anyway.
Witnesses turned hostile one by one. The UP prosecutor tried to drop the key witness. Neelam challenged it herself in court and won. She got the trial moved from UP to Delhi because the politician’s influence ran too deep locally.
In 2003 her husband died. She kept going.
She attended every single hearing. Took leave from her job as a school teacher. Appeared in court over and over across 14 years.
Vikas Yadav’s family threatened her. She did not stop.
In 2016 the Supreme Court upheld the conviction. Vikas Yadav sentenced to 25 years without remission.
She said this.
No matter how strong a person might be justice will catch up. It may take time. You have to go through the process. Never give up.
She fought for 14 years. Alone. While working full time. After losing her husband. After losing her son.
She did not just get justice for Nitish.
She showed every ordinary Indian that you can take on the powerful and win.
Follow for real stories about people who refused to give up.
@anushakunmittal The BJP is not responsible for the crisis, it's the war. Actually this govt is handling things much better. Only commercial cylinders have been reduced, red cylinders delivery (home use)isn't really affected. We have to find alternate solutions till the crisis is over.
@ThRandomTalk@UnivofDelhi Pappu wants that, so that he can earn sympathy. Every time he's punished, he says the govt is trying to silence his voice. And some intl agencies opposing the govt will amplify this. Many parties playing internationally want Modi govt gone and Pappu is a good tool for them.
@ANI No doglover has said that dogs must be untouched. On the contrary, dog lovers advocate and sometimes pay for sterilization and vaccination of these dogs. Dog lovers want dogs and humans to coexist and hence are willing to go the extra mile.... @DrMohanBhagwat
A young life was cut short because his crime was that he had a heart and a conscience and that he was born in a country of hypocrites who worships idols and insults their teachings
Vikram Nath, Sandeep Mehta and N Anjaria of @indSupremeCourt are responsible for his death. His killers backed by Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta's rancourous statements spit out against those who follow Article 51 A(g) of the Constitution of India
Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta are responsible for every woman beaten and stripped just because they were feeding hungry and starving animals, every man and child killed for feeding dogs and cows
Vikram Nath, JB Pardiawala and Sandeep Mehta can you bring back the lives lost due to your statements? Rabies is 100% preventable but you cannot undo the harm and chaos that you have unleashed in this country

@VinayPropdial@theskindoctor13 So you agree that a person scoring 4/800 is eligible to handle life and death matters? Doesn't matter if he's qualified, because the skin doctor is actually questioning the method of qualifying. As should all of us. This is one field where only merit should go.
