@virginmedia No they are not from you. I took 2 calls on Monday, one regarding washing machines and the other wanted to ask “three household questions”. I understand regarding the PoA and I’ll get my brother to contact.
@virginmedia when it comes to inept telecommunication companies, you’re up there. A 1 hour wait on hold this morning, a 90 minutes unresponsive live chat, then another 40 minute call, only to be cut off when your customer service representative stated she was transferring me.
@virginmedia My brother has PoA for finances. He’s on holiday at the moment. When I spoke to a Virgin Media customer representative, she stated that she wouldn’t be able to stop calls. She is already registered with Telephone Preference Services, but the calls continue.
@virginmedia I’m merely trying to change my mothers number. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, she continues to get several unsolicited sales calls each evening. She has Alzheimer’s and finds this very confusing and distressing.
