@RieriShrimp I've heard they're looking to trade back, which makes me think they're not as enamored with the players most often mocked there (Carels, Bjorck, etc). Another Boston forward makes sense for them.
Convince Chicago we're picking Stenberg at #2. Trade back with them for #4 + Sam Rinzel. Draft Chase Reid at #4 and Daxon Rudolph at #9.
Reid, Rudolph, and Rinzel - overhauled defense and we still keep the vast majority of our young offense.
More 5D chess from GMMR.

2026 FLA 1st Round Pick (No. 9 overall)
San Jose is now picking 2nd, 9th and 27th overall in Friday night's #NHLDraft.
I don't really care about the AAV on Sherwood's contract, but definitely not thrilled about 5 years.
That said, I really like him as a player and as long as we get 3 good years out of him at least, this contract isn't a big deal.
Following your team through the darkest days of a deep rebuild, and then watching them pull out of it to become a contending team, has to be one of the most gratifying feelings as a sports fan.
