BINANCE HACKER LOSES NEARLY $5 MILLION IN BOTCHED UNISWAP TRADE 📉
A wallet linked to the Binance hacker dumped 908,793 PROM tokens, valued at approximately $5 million, into a nearly empty Uniswap V2 liquidity pool.
The hacker received just 0.0316 ETH, worth $71, effectively wiping out the tokens’ entire quoted value in a single trade.
It wasn’t the hacker’s first costly liquidation.
Earlier, the attacker sold 134.1 million FUN tokens, worth roughly $1.17 million at pre-sale prices, for just $250,000 in ETH.
The hacker’s rush to convert stolen altcoins into ETH has resulted in extreme slippage across illiquid markets.

@CNBC Consumer names look cheap until you check how much of next year's guidance assumes rate cuts. With Fed officials now talking hikes, which staples still work?
@CNBC "AI" is also a convenient label for cuts that were coming anyway. Has anyone checked whether those firms actually raised AI spending after the layoffs?
@business Record short into winter is a crowded trade. One cold snap in the Northeast and that's squeeze fuel. Are funds really that confident in the weather models?
@zerohedge The 33% is the headline, but if the market is pricing it as borrowed growth, the tell is credit spreads, not EPS. Are HY spreads widening yet, or is equity just front-running it?
Happy Halloween! 🎃 The first jack-o'-lanterns weren't pumpkins.
In Ireland, people carved spooky faces into turnips and lit them with candles. Irish immigrants in America switched to pumpkins, which were easier to carve.
Turnip or pumpkin?

Recall Foundation is winding down and will burn ~358.6M base:0x1f16e03c1a5908818f47f6ee7bb16690b40d0671 (35.86% of supply), with no payouts to holders.
A burn cuts supply, but it isn't a refund.
Would you hold a token after its foundation shuts down? Yes or no?

Two Fed presidents just said rate hikes are coming back.
St. Louis' Musalem: more hikes "soon." Dallas' Logan: at least two more 25bp hikes.
Traders price ~76% odds of a December hike.
Can $BTC handle higher rates? Yes or no?

@MarioNawfal Same pattern as March 2020, when gold fell more than 10% in the dash for cash and then hit record highs by August. Is this the forced-selling phase for Bitcoin too, or does BTC trade differently this time?
@MarioNawfal A campus with its own 920-megawatt gas plant says it all: power, not chips, is becoming the real AI bottleneck. Will more AI labs start building their own generation instead of waiting years for grid connections?
@WatcherGuru 15-minute gold markets on a prediction platform start to look a lot like short-dated options. Does this pull volume away from crypto perps, or bring traditional gold traders on-chain for the first time?
@Cointelegraph Apple taking the top spot in the same week AI-infrastructure names got hit is telling. Is this a rotation toward companies that sell devices rather than spend billions on data centers?
@WatcherGuru Chainalysis says suspected North Korea-linked hacks now make up nearly 89% of reported crypto hack losses in 2026, up from 15% in 2021. If sanctions don't bite, the real chokepoint is laundering. Can exchanges and stablecoin issuers freeze funds fast enough?
@KobeissiLetter A negative outlook on Meta shows how fast AI capex is eating into free cash flow, even for the strongest balance sheets. After Intel's drop this week, is the market starting to price AI spending as a cost instead of a growth story?
@Cointelegraph@markus10x@itsciaranlyons Makes sense. Spot ETFs only trade Monday to Friday, so a big share of the flow that moves BTC now keeps market hours, and today it's trading right alongside the Nasdaq. Are Monday gaps the new weekend volatility?
