I love New York and always considered myself a “Queens girl.” Taking on the opportunity to represent the community I grew up in means a lot to me. Like you, the past few years have been hard for my family, friends, and all New Yorkers. Worries about our safety, our finances, our kids’ schooling, our freedoms and our quality of life are not being addressed by the old guard, and I can no longer sit by and let bad policies ruin our city and the future for our children.
