Sunday School Matt

Sunday School Teacher. This is my only official web presence.

I was trying to satirize the non-believer's stereotypical view of a Christian. But now I want to use twitter for theological discourse.

[Sunday School Matt @SundaySchoolM]

This account began as an elaborate joke but I'm going to use it to tweet about theology now. I will delete all my old tweets eventually.

I feel like Calvinism taken seriously would either imply Universalism or raise serious concerns about the character of God.

[Pope Francis – ARCHIVE @Pontifex266Arch]

Happy Easter! May you bring to all the joy and hope of the Risen Christ!

[Church Curmudgeon @ChrchCurmudgeon]

Love's redeeming work is done
Fought the fight, the battle won
Death in vain forbids Him rise
Christ hath opened paradise
Alleluia!

[Sunday School Matt @SundaySchoolM]

He is risen indeed. https://t.co/C5jBy97FaL

He is Risen!

[Sunday School Matt @SundaySchoolM]

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

[Sunday School Matt @SundaySchoolM]

In his humanity, Jesus wept for Lazarus. In His divinity, He raised him from the dead.

[Sunday School Matt @SundaySchoolM]

In other words, not a person. Attempts to identify a personal antichrist are unBiblical and useless.

[Sunday School Matt @SundaySchoolM]

The Bible says there are many antichrists. The antichrist is a spiritual force the church will be contending with until the end of time.
