This afternoon in Yenagoa, I attended the stakeholders’ meeting of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
As our first major gathering following the recently concluded congresses and party primaries, the meeting provided an opportunity to engage with party leaders, members, and all aspirants who participated in the primaries. It was a time to reflect, strategize, and strengthen our collective commitment to the growth of our party and the development of our nation.
I am pleased that our party remains strong, united, and focused. The APC continues to offer hope to Nigerians through the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his ongoing efforts towards the restructuring and renewal of our country.
Today, I also formally commissioned the new APC State Secretariat along the Sani Abacha Expressway in Yenagoa. I commend the State Chairman, Hon. Warman Weri Ogoriba, and members of the State Working Committee for their foresight, dedication, and commitment to providing a befitting administrative hub for the party.
I am equally encouraged by the establishment of the State and Local Government Advisory Committees, which will provide guidance, deepen grassroots engagement, and further strengthen the party’s structures across Bayelsa State.
As always, I remain committed to supporting Mr. President and working with all stakeholders to ensure continued peace, progress, and prosperity for our people.
@FrankKhalidUK Chelsea hierarchy isn't serious when it comes to buying of already established players in the transfer market. We keep making same mistake since from when the Blueco took over the club. They have made us to believe that, they're just for business buying teenagers develop and sale

Governor, Bayelsa State and Chairman, South-South Governors Forum (SSGF)
Today, I joined other leaders of the state for the sporting activities that marked the commencement of the funeral rites for my late Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Ph.D.
The series of sporting events covering a football game, athletics 4 by 100metres relays, tug of war and wrestling, held at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Yenagoa, remained a true reflection of my late deputy’s deep love for sports and his unwavering commitment to the many sporting successes recorded thus far under our Government of Assured Prosperity.
On the occasion, I was accompanied by my wife, Hon. Justice (Mrs.) Patience Zuofa Diri, members of the National Assembly, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere and other state lawmakers, the Chief Judge of the State, Honourable Justice Matilda Abrakasa Ayemieye and other judges, members of the State Executive Council, Service Commanders, top government officials, friends, and well-wishers.
Together with other Bayelsans, it was a deeply nostalgic moment as we began the journey of bidding farewell to our beloved Deputy Governor.
Indeed, he will be sorely missed.
