How long before Chelsea goes under?

I give it 2 years max before Clearlake tries to sell. They wonโt be able to though - not unless financial rules are abandoned - and Chelsea will go into administration.
As of one year ago, it had Net Assets of ยฃ350m but a P&L reserve of nearly NEGATIVE ยฃ1.2 BILLION and itโs racking up operational losses of ยฃ200-250m per season. That is insane. And itโs likely worse now.
It may have found EPL PSR loopholes such as selling land and its womenโs team intra-group, as well as overly inflated player swaps. But these may not work. Points deductions may still happen.
And these loopholes wonโt all work for Uefa competitions. Even if it could scrape 4th this coming season, I doubt it would be permitted to play UCL the season after. So no UCL revenues to save the day (not that they would anyway - the hole is too deep).
Plus the historical PL rule breaches, which are extremely serious in nature, could finally bite next season. Iโd say itโs more likely than not that theyโll be relegated for them.
Chelsea bought all the players it could with no coherent strategy, spending absurd sums and committing to 8-year contracts on a group that is not a coherent squad. As a result, performances are poor and it canโt even afford to sell flops like Mudryk and Enzo - itโs not a cash thing, itโs a P&L thing. The hit would still be too big to take.
I find it staggering just how much of a mess theyโve put Chelsea into in just a few years and more staggering how no-one is really talking about it.
