Claudio’s house is full of art supplies and ancient art-books. More than I’ve ever seen. Сarefully gathered by him over the years.
I need graphite transfer paper. I’m 100% sure it’s somewhere here… Finding it feels like searching for an artifact in Indiana Jones’ warehouse.
Me and Claudio found an old rusty scooter during last christmas.
We got excited and took it home thinking about coloring it and putting flowers on it and putting outside the house then we forgot about it.
I finished it in his honor and memory...
I placed one of his pipes with his ashes.
The thought of smoking one of his pipes made me smile. Because I could almost see Claudio getting angry about that, waving his Sicilian gestures. I miss that so much.
a friend who knew my husband and saw us happy, can call me for 30 min before work. I call it 30 minutes of happiness, a connection to the real world that i have and the time when my soul feels like myself.
After these 30 I have energy to eat and finish design tasks
The last thing I saw was his smile. He valued happiness. He valued simple things like a smile and tried to be positive even in difficult times throughout his life. I will always remember that smile.
Claudio in autumn, with his pipe and coat, always reminded me of a ship's captain. ⚓️
So when you're standing sleepily at a bus stop on a cloudy morning, waiting for a bus... it looks like a weird italian version of The Lighthouse.
A sketch that i sent Claudio during that time when i was obsessed with "ape cars" that are everywhere in Italy. How cool it could be to have a flying one.
The apecar later will become an important part of us. (ape mean "bee")
I drew this picture when we were in Rome.
I made sandwiches to eat when we stopped in the center. We sat and ate them, and pigeons circled around us. It was my happiest day in Rome.🕊️
There was a period of time when we just started and I was afraid that Claudio would not accept me as I am and that’s why I was constantly on a diet...
How silly I was.
When that year 2020 separated us for a bit, I got sick and was in bed with fever for many days. I imagined Claudio as a big wolf that protects me in a dark forest and it made me feel better.
