Back in my 5090 review and OC video I talked about how much warmer the 12v cable was than compared to when it was plugged into my 4090.

Although the range of temp on this cable is not in the danger zone you can see it's obviously warm. I know that people want to blame the user but if what DerBauer is finding is wide spread regarding one cable pulling more power than others this is going to be a much larger issue that 4090.

Who recalled the PMD2 screaming an alarm at me that the cards were pulling above spec?

This pic is from our original testing and it's with a very heavy gauge stock Corsair cable that utilized 2x8pin instead of ATX 3.0/1 on both ends
