Abdul-Maalik, since the time I moved to the community, was always a face I associated with @GtownMasjid. A brother that anyone from the community will tell you was always volunteering in whatever capacity he was available at the expense of his time and sleep.

We’re definitely sad at his death but have good thoughts of his last actions, closing up the masjid after lesson and then waking up in the morning for fajr making wudhu

QadrAllāh, A car crashed into the masjid earlier this morning after Fajr prayer. Alhamdulillāh, No attendees were hurt except for the driver but heard they are in stable condition. Despite of the damage to the wall of the side of the masjid— We will still hold Jumu’ah prayer and the rest of the prayers today, Alhamdulillāh.

Expect some traffic today especially in front of the masjid on Cleveland Ave. and be mindful where you park today.
