It’s the weekend, my DAC family.

“What do I actually need if I want to run a @dac_chain node?” 👀

So let’s make it very simple.

If you want to become a DAC Validator, you need:

🟡 1,000 DACT

You then run a Validator Node and take part in network work such as block proposal and EPT-related tasks.

If you want to become a DAC Supervisor, you need:

🟡 100,000 DACT

You then run a Supervisor Node, which helps with epoch sealing and backup responsibilities.

And then there is DACC.

DACC is different from DACT.

DACT → staking requirement
DACC → transaction + reward coin

So think of it like this:

Want to be a Validator?
→ 1,000 DACT
→ Run the node
→ Contribute to the network

Want to be a Supervisor?
→ 100,000 DACT
→ Run the node
→ Help secure and coordinate the network

And as the network operates, DACC is part of the reward and transaction economy.

That’s the simple picture:

DACT = stake
Node = does the work
DACC = transaction & reward coin
