Perfect #Mets Trade Deadline
A Thread 🧵
I think the Mets are going to be super active at this deadline, adding at multiple positions and moving on from some young major leaguers. With things being wide open, Stearns needs to take advantage.
Let’s break it down! #LGM
@ScoKoH@LimeMets Also has a .252 babip, which somewhat negates your point. Nimmo is a good player that goes through extreme cold stretches. We as Mets fans have seen it the last 3 years. Not trying to shit on nimmo though, I loved him as a Met
Believe it when you see it …

@itsmeTylerG@FredoDaGawd7 Everything’s there for it to go up, he works long counts and has great at bats overall. I’d bet he ends with around a 10% walk rate come end of year
@TalkinMetsNoG The Braves have less steals and only a slightly better stolen base percentage. The Mets are also without one of their best base stealers in Lindor and Sotos injuries have 100% affected his ability to steal. This whole Richardson thing is so overblown lol
@TrueMetsTalkCP It’s 2 bad starts, albeit very bad. I think it’s being over blown by the fact that the Mets have been bad and Schlittler has been incredible. It’s still only his 2nd full season of pitching and he’s not even a full seasons worth of games into his career
