Rain leans. I've seen days like this before, sure as anything. sure as heck. ☔ 🌸

CHINA MAY HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY TO MONETIZE HUMANOID ROBOTS: ATTENTION.

This isn't a robot moving boxes.

It's a robot built to make people stop and look.

Elf Xuan from AheadForm was shown at the INCLUSION Conference in Shanghai - a humanoid designed to look and behave far more like a character than a traditional industrial machine.

And that changes the business model.

A factory robot gets paid for work.

A robot like this can potentially get paid for:

Attention.

Entertainment.

Brand activations.

Events.

Content.

Experiences.

China is already putting humanoids on major entertainment stages.

Deals involving four robotics companies for the 2026 Spring Festival Gala were reported at around ¥100 MILLION ($14M).

Now imagine a much smaller business.

A $100,000 humanoid performing at 2 events per week.

If each appearance generates just $5,000, that's:

$520,000 gross revenue per year.

The robot doesn't need to replace a factory worker.

It needs to become a character people are willing to pay to see.

And unlike a human performer, the same digital character could potentially appear in different cities, different campaigns and different experiences.

That could turn a humanoid from a machine into something much stranger:

A physical media asset.

The question is:

Would you pay $20 to see a humanoid perform if it looked almost indistinguishable from a human?

A lone tree turns quiet, without making a fuss. plain as day. 🌳. Years do their work in silence.

I reckon, a prairie sky drifts, without making a fuss. ☁️. A little solitude can be honest.

The lake presses on, steady as an old habit. Certain air smells like childhood.
