AFRICA GAMES WAHALA
UPSA is literally constructing an entirely new school campus.
That is a ten-floor multipurpose twin tower edifice and two new ten-storey hostel block facilities.
A 10-Floor Twin Tower: with offices, lecture rooms, commercial centers and halls of residential areas and will replace the administrative complex on the old campus
The Two Student Hostels (10 storey each) will accommodate about 3,250.
The projects ultra modern nature has been described as “unprecedented in the history of the University”.
All four grand projects cost 230 million cedis ($14 million dollars)
Meanwhile, the Africa Games Organizers didn’t need to build any new hostel. They refurbished four Legon Hostels [Halls are Elizabeth Sey, Kwapong, Limann, and Nelson] for 250 million cedis ($16 million dollars).
Both UPSA Construction & Legon refurbishments happened around the same period.
The students who returned to the $16million renovated facility can attest to the changes there.
When I say only a breakdown will clear doubts, this is what I mean.
👨🏾🍳🇬🇭: When ex-President Mahama reportedly built the circle interchange(Dubai) at a whopping cost of $260million, we questioned and raised eyebrows about the cost of that project. Because we knew how a $260 million project should look like.
Bawumia is heard to have even lashed out at Mahama in 2020 that that amount could give Ghana 4 interchanges because the NPP are building 4 interchanges at $289 million.
Today, we see a $60 million Phase II educational facility that doesn’t match its cost and some of you pathetic bots say we shouldn’t raise eyebrows and ask questions?? Is Ghana only for you people anaaa?
Smh.
