@NO2BogusSCOTUS @dustychipura I’ve not been diagnosed, but I check all the boxes (and both my children were diagnosed as adults). As I’ve gotten older and begun the perimenopause/menopause journey, my “symptoms “ do seem to be exacerbated.

@BarbaraCRoberts I love this book!
The other day, a 6th grade student was complaining that the library doesn’t have any good girls sports books. I was like “Hold up “ and handed her this. 😊
Thank you for writing it!
@c_j_holliday@thejackhopkins I didn’t know Jack was from Missouri, either. I’m not far from St. Louis. With the current MO government, I hate it here. But my husband and I are too settled in our careers to move. One daughter lives here, too. Another daughter moved states immediately after college.
@PresidentPat I have 2 mornings a week to work on the administrative side of running the library.
(not really enough) On my Mondays off, I usually do grading, make agenda slides and do long term lesson planning- at home. We aren’t paid for Mondays.
@PresidentPat I’m the librarian in a PK-8, 4 day a week school. We attend Tues-Fri. I prep for 9 different grade levels. K-5, I see 1x a week, 6-8 2x a week. I use every second of my plan period. 1/

@lynnrooroo @dryk476@SomaKazima I’m a hard of hearing teacher. When I want to make the point that my class is too loud, I take out both my hearing devices and say Ahhh much better! Or I tell them to wait a sec while I turn them down and make a show of using my connected app to turn down the volume.
@MaudPowell3 @heymrsbond I only see my 6-8 th grade students twice a week. So, I’ll just let it take the whole class period (maybe peer editing,too). Then the second day I’ll have them share with a partner. Partner has to summarize in 10 words or less.
