Not all coloured drawing inks are lightfast, even quality ones. Calligraphy inks are more permanent. If you're not sure what you used, keep your drawings in the dark in albums so they don't fade away completely

So I ask them not to put things in bags and simply stick the price label directly on the item. For multiple small items like tomatoes, where a bag is necessary, they use home compostable ones

Bought some more Slice of Green cotton produce bags from @natcol to avoid the single-use ones provided by shops. I find I use the small size most. @morrisons staff have been intrigued and supportive

@thriftygreen The spikes are not usually very strong and can be carefully rubbed off sideways with your fingers. No need to peel but the skins can be a little thicker and tougher than the usual shop-bought varieties
