Grant had been smoking to cure his hunger, leaning against the brick of a shady building in an even shadier part of London when this man had walked by him with a massive snake wrapped around his shoulder. "That a pet?"

Grant eyed the other boy up and down. He really couldn't help it. The protective genes got him good.

"So. You're Remus' friend? What was your name again?"

"Welcome in!" Grant called as the door to the cafe's door chimed, signaling a new customer. He'd just finished wiping a table, and slung the rag over his shoulder as he made his way to the entrance.

"Want a table? How many?" He asked, giving a grin.
