MANAGEMENT TEAM UPDATE 💙
We’re delighted to announce that Sunya Salim has joined the Lye Town Women management team in a new Player-Coach role.
Sunya will remain registered as a player, while also taking on additional coaching responsibilities and working alongside the management team.
Having captained the side on numerous occasions, Sunya brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and football knowledge that will be invaluable as we continue our journey in the National League.
First Team Manager Dan Ludlow said:
“We’re really excited to welcome Sunya into the management team as a Player-Coach. Her experience, leadership and input will be invaluable going forward. She’s brilliant with the girls and will be the perfect bridge between the players and management staff.
With us now competing in the National League, it feels like the right move at exactly the right time. Sunya knows the standards we’re looking to set, and I’m delighted we’re able to give her the opportunity to take on this new role while continuing to contribute as a player.”
Congratulations, Sunya! We’re excited to see the impact you’ll have both on and off the pitch.
