@MojaveScribe_ That's not the point. Child abuse can be hidden within a household unlike other violent crimes that affect the public and the areas around them. Even then, Japanese child abuse isn't as lethal compared to other countries.

You can't hide public violence, it would disrupt communities to where their behavior reflects their fear and you can't hide that many bodies.
