Online Digital Copies of anything can be removed anytime the publishers wants, even from "your library" after you have paid for it. On physical that's a bit hard to do, especially for older consoles.
Plus, there is no resale value of digital.

So, wouldn't be surprised if this joke eventually becomes a industry norm.

Aka., the more AI grows, the more other resources also gets hurt, like energy and water.
Thousands to millions of gallons of water is used up each day to run those AI centers.
