@AI_EmeraldApple There will be no self-reflection from this either. He’s a grifter who will hand-wave this criticism away as pointless hate and not an actual valid point against his performative behavior.
The people who bought this: they’re flesh automatons. Minds made of mush. To be perpetually puppeteered by nostalgia. The reason that all forms of art & entertainment have become purely profit-driven. There is no passion in any industry and it’s because of you.
@CultureCrave My unpopular opinion about the games industry is that if you have seen the type of ideologically captured psychos they’ve hired in the last 10 years, the 3k firings is still probably a bit of an undercount of how many people should be dropped.
Destiny 2 players organize “Server Slam” as some call for a Sony boycott
The Destiny 2 community is encouraging players to log in on Bungie Day, July 7, for one final “Server Slam.”
They want to celebrate the game one last time and overwhelm the servers.
Players are calling for a Sony boycott to send a message following the end of major development and support only for Marathon
@Bungie I really like how this places the blame on D2 falling short when, in reality, it was leadership’s choice to not recommit to the franchise after TFS and instead have the team push out anemic and uninteresting updates.
@LogPowerslave Seasons solved the content drought problem that D1 and early D2 faced. In reality, the better option was the quarterly updates that they wanted to do à la Ash & Iron. The problem with that was that the update we got was anemic as it was.
@A_dmg04 Snagged an absolute heater of a Yeartide Apex with heal clip, demo, chaos reshaped, burning ambition, and incandescent. I don’t know how much better that could get.
@ALegendaryDrops This update has put the game in one of the best spots it has ever been. Despite there being content pulled out in 2020, what is in the game is now evergreen: a situation that has never happened for this game before.
Remember: no serious Destiny player thought D3 would be revealed in these showcases. That’s years away IF EVER. The real purpose of being this loud is to show @Bungie and @PlayStation that demand for Destiny exists but the community has been underserved by key decision-makers.
