I worked on spellbinders with my friend @generationality it was my first time doing game dev really and I honestly am floored by such positive feedback. Working on this jam was alot of fun and I'm thankful for everyone that took the time to try our game. Thank you so much!
@Dagr8_Carlos Basically, the only requirement is to be sitting next to me every time I hit 'compile'.
But if you wanna play early, all you gotta do is wait a little...
I've never been so nervous working on a game.
I've never played a game like the one I'm making so I don't know what it's supposed to be.
It's a fighting game so I need an extra person just to test it and I have no friends.
This game relies so much on story & I'm not a writer.
People have wanted Carnage and Green Goblin in a fighting game for YEARS. Also this means you can make a team of entirely Spider-Man characters (Spidey, Peni, Goby, and Carnage).
Also the comicbook artboard look is cool.
I didn’t add RPG systems to Fablelight to make it grindy.
I added them to make the fights more personal.
Fundamentals still matter though:
Hold back to block.
Motion inputs.
Special cancels.
Every Friday there's a combo video of my RPG
@TMoruma@CoreAGaming I do not... And I'm not a musician 👀
The game is still an early prototype but when it comes time for music (ina few weeks) I'm gonna keep you in mind.
So if you don't hear from me, I'm not ignoring you I'm just saving this for later.
But the reaction from playtesters has been overwhelming. I've never had such a positive reaction to such an early prototype.
When I explain the game they say "that's crazy. That'll never work"
When they play the game they say "that's awesome why has it never been done before?"
