@killianhayes77 Okay and?? There are literally tons of DBZ and even OGDB fights that have much better battle choreography than this fight does, and those ones are like 2-3 decades older than this. I don't get why yall make some of the dumbest excuses for this kind of stuff.
@KingJordan_57 Gohan's moveset in Sparking Zero is literally perfect, even better than in BT3. What you seem to be criticizing is his rush attack animations, which is an entirely different thing.
@NockCS Xenoverse 3 models and artstyle look like an arcade game... Sparking Zero's actually look like something you can expect from a triple a game from a successful franchise in 2026.
@RemixedNex You didnt address anything I said dumbass. The reason you didnt is because nothing I said was wrong, you're just dumb and feel upset that I rightfully criticized something you liked.
@DBGameNews After watching all of the gameplay released today, this is an objectively great decision. This game needs some serious work, but once it gets it, I'm sure it will be an amazing game
@AfCody@Stardust_Chaos7@Axellont1 The Sparking Zero fixed most important issues within the first 2 months of the game being out:
1. Ultimate moves being too fast
2. Blast stocks regenerating too quickly
3. Ranked not having a penalty for rage quitting
4. Must be on time chamber to do local multiplayer
etc
@Ulisesrzd@Faxxmel He's a 9 year old kid? His height is literally accurate in Sparking Zero, whereas in Xenoverse his body proprtions barely look accurate to the manga/anime
@Kingsoln84 And how exactly does that excuse the fact that the choreography and battle sequence here is bland and uncreative?? We've seen normal sparring matches in this franchise have better fight sequences than this, such as Goku and Vegeta's sparring match in DBS Superhero.
@DudeGlorious12@TyroneTG3 How did I switch up on the movie? I think the movie is pretty good, its just that this fight scene is incredibly underwhelming for the debut of what was the first new dragon ball form in 15 years at the time of the movie's release.
@feverofbleach I don't think it was "filler slop" by giving other characters key moments. One of the criticisms of bleach has always been that only Ichigo got to carry out key moments. This episode helped fix that issue
October 2026 might just be one of the greatest times to ever be an anime/manga fan:
1. DBS Beerus started airing!
2. First new Black Clover season in 5 years!
3. Bleach TYBW arc concluding!
4. Announcement of new Naruto manga written by Kishimoto himself!
We're eating π―
@P4TRONS4INT This is my opinion as well. The dbs version of the fight suffered from bad animation and artstyle, but at least the series had a much better showcasing for Super Saiyan God. We saw new abilities being used, huge new feats which actually made the form seem powerful, and more.
@Brefif142385@TyroneTG3 90% of this fight features boring and uncreative fight choreography. SSG doesnt showcase any new or impressive abilities either. Yall see flashy colors, shitty cgi, and decent animation, and automatically think that alone makes a good fight scene π
@TyroneTG3 Sorry that i'm expecting a fight in Dragon Ball (the series world renowned for its fight scenes) to actually look good! There are many other fights in the franchise that manage to be narratively engaging while also visually impressive
@ssunheejippery Yes this is what I meant. The narrative and dialogue was really great, but the fight itself choregraphy wise and in terms of showcasing new abilities was extrodinarily mid
@M3ssiFan@DBPerfectShots I've been saying it for years. Animation and artstyle aside, from a purely choregraphy and creativity standpoint, the dbs version of this fight was so much better than the movie version. Can't wait for DBS Beerus to elevate it even more so more people can realize that.
