This week, after reading a story that featured a character with a cane, Room 11 discussed accessibility. Students did some persuasive writing on how our school is currently accessible as well as how it could be more accessible. @TDSB_Ogden
Room 11 was busy measuring the mass of different objects around our classroom! We made some scales to see how many grams or kilograms each item weighed. We talked about greatest and least mass and what our scales looked like when balanced. @TDSB_Ogden

For #BellLetsTalk, Room 11 talked about the importance of self care. Students wrote โtweetsโ about how they make themselves feel better when they are down. So happy for the wonderful ideas from Room 15 and 16, as well. @TDSB_Ogden
Room 11 has been busy at work designing their own movie posters based on books! First we explored what their advertisement needs, and how to determine their target audience. We used our success criteria to decide if weโre ready for our good copy! @TDSB_Ogden
Today we learned about traditional #KenteCloth weaving. We learned about the symbolism of each colour and then painted colourful designs. Stay tuned for updates of when we start our weaving!! @TDSB_Ogden
