Squidlit 64 update!
Introducing walkin’ talkin’ NPCs who will defend you, ferocious ladybugs, and equipment menus!
The Pikachu N64 is from @TheNintendoFeed! He’s selling lots of great stuff. Thanks Dan!

@kasdorf_w Is it the trailer you have pinned to your profile? Better than any trailer I’ve put out.
My games must secretly suck too because I think it looks friggin’ awesome!!
(Spoiler: My games don’t suck and Robo Ride and Glide rules. I’ve watched how much great work you’ve put in.)

Hello squidlits! Sorry for the hiatus. I had health issues that knocked me out for the last year and slowed Squidlit 64 development for the year before that.
I wanted to wait until I had good news. Now I’m much better and am slowly getting back to it!
@kasdorf_w Think of all the Doom clones that proliferated in the 90s, a lot of them are highly respected games today.
It's hard to think of a genre that didn't start out with resistance from people calling the first follower a clone. I figured this would happen, you gotta keep strong.
@kasdorf_w I'm still frothing at the mouth for your game. Kirby Air Ride invented a genre, a genre with only three games in it (including Smash Run) and they're all by the same director.
God forbid you be the one to turn a series into a genre! There's always resistance to this.
@RyanSilberman While insulted and glad it's been removed, both games did a teensy bit better for a couple weeks!
Squidlit 64 is being developed for the N64 is because there's only about 400 games competing for eyeballs. More dividing categories on the Switch store still sounds nice.
@RyanSilberman Super Squidlit was in the picture you posted. It took three years. My spouse and I sacrificed a lot and put everything we had and more into it.
Yeah, that kinda hurts.
I guess more eyes are always good? Perhaps I should check if it sold a couple more copies.
@Kujo1597 The little squidlits love you too!
There was like three days where Squidlit outsold Pokémon because it was 12 cents. Maybe you picked it up then? Haha
(Nintendo changed their sale rules shortly after that and we blame ourselves for the disappearance of sub dollar switch games)
