In the last few months I've put all the big non specialist Ai through their paces in real world tasks. I don't bother with all the benchmarks. There is one clear winner Claude wins by a long way followed by DeepSeek and Grok. DeepSeek I haven't used for anything that has privacy data involved. Gemini wins for short image and video gen and it's great for brainstorming. I found Perplexity good when working in a team with Gemini. It gives Gemini what it's not very good at. Gemini loves answering randomly so if you don't know what you're needing gemini can take you the wrong way. This is my clear loser by a long way. Chatgpt doesn't do anything I've needed. It gets lost on literally everything. Going round in circles is the best way to describe it. It's arguementative on tasks it should be just doing and helping. It breaks things that didn't need touching. It doesn't explain things properly. I can see how Chatgpt is people's go to because it does everything, just not very well and the way I've put them through their tasks i would use more than one ai for different tasks. Chatgpt is a jack of all trades the master of none. I'm not including the specialist Ai like suno, elevenlabs and so on because it wouldn't be a fair comparison. All of the ai I've compared were given the same tasks they all had the same memory text saved excluding DeepSeek which doesn't allow it. This is my opinion from real world use. Claude is the one to trust. Claude is the one that gets any take done first time everytime. If you only have free or pro Claude use Gemini as your assistant for brainstorming before you give Claude any tasks. It saves you usage. If you want any of Claude work checking let Grok check it. You can get all of these for free. I've done all my real world checks on the Pro tiers excluding DeepSeek that's free. I'm not saying any of them are bad. What I'm explaining is how they work. Chatgpt will be perfect for your chat bot all in one simple tasks. Claude doesn't generate images or videos. But it's definitely the best for mid to hard tasks. My personal favourite models in Claude are Fable 5.1 and Sonnet 5. These two models are the markets very best for any tasks I've given them all to do

"Following our defeat to Everton and subsequent relegation, Roberto De Zerbi has left his role as Head Coach.
We would like to thank Roberto for his efforts over the last eight games."
🚨Football in 2026 is a complete MESS
- Southampton win over 210 minutes, then Middlesbrough take their place despite losing, completely ruining Hull preparation.
- Celtic practically handed the SPL by VAR.
- Arsenal given the Premier League title thanks to VAR.
- Senegal protest an incorrect VAR call, go on to win the game, then have the AFCON taken off them.
Football should be decided between 22 blokes on a pitch not in offices or VAR rooms. Absolute shambles. It’s not football anymore.
Here are 4 things that happened to the UK in the last 24 hours:
1. The Labour government confirmed it will remove the right to a jury trial. Cases will be tried by a judge alone.
2. The Labour gvt confirmed it will impose Digital ID despite it never being included in Labour's manifesto and nearly 3 million Brits signing a petition against it.
3. The Labour gvt confirmed we will "align" with the European Union, directly going against the 2016 democratic vote for Brexit & forcing the British people to pay billions for laws they'll never be able to influence.
4. The Labour gvt confirmed that while Islamist sympathisers & antisemites are free to march on the streets of our capital city, & while it welcomes former allies of al-Qaeda into Downing Street, it has banned conservative activists from joining a peaceful protest against mass immigration in London.
Put all these things together and you get a sense - just a sense - of how hideously authoritarian and illiberal this Labour government really is.
