I know that there were some glitches and lessons learned, but, so far this summer, between the #GPSL2020 and the #AAPTSM20, I have been really impressed with the quality of these virtual conferences. Thanks to all who helped put these together.
Symposium is done! Our Zoom session was a great success and we hope to continue supporting off-site participants in the future with virtual attendance. GPSL 2021 will be held near Delphi, Indiana, next summer.
The 20th GPSL is underway now. We are on our third speaker with @nearsys presenting on radiation detection. Two excellent international presentations to start us off today.
We're at 130 registered now! Zoom links have gone out to all registered attendees. We'll do our best to catch any late registrations at https://t.co/Z3ZWfmDIav before tomorrow's session.
Zoom session will open at 0830 CDT for testing, then starting at 0900 CDT
We are at 116 registered for the 2020 Super Launch symposium for this Friday. Register at https://t.co/2blFHNpd4i if you haven't done so already. Zoom meeting info will be sent to registered attendees tomorrow.

@Pat_Kilroy Also, we will likely have a post-mission Zoom of some sort Saturday. Not sure if we'll have a set time, or just a place to hang out, chat, and show video with no particular schedule
GPSL 2020 will now be a virtual event. The symposium will still take place on Friday, July 10 and balloon groups will simultaneously launch on Saturday, July 11 from their home locations. Additional details will be announced in the next few weeks.
@Pat_Kilroy The registration isn't opened yet, will be soon. We're expecting plenty of Zoom capacity. Appreciate you and Bob putting together a talk for Friday!

We will have a Zoom session on Friday July 10 for our presentations. Free registration for it will open soon on https://t.co/Z3ZWfmDIav.
@Pat_Kilroy Presentations will still be on Friday, but on Zoom. I think we'll open up a meeting for post-flight debriefings on Saturday so people can share their flight experiences. We might also have a pre-flight meeting so those with good internet can share their launch.
GPSL 2020 is still planned for July. However, in light of COVID-19 restrictions, we are discussing a virtual conference and HABists launch from their own sites. Check https://t.co/Z3ZWfmDIav and subscribe to GPSL on https://t.co/mJkC5cV25Y.
The 2020 Great Plains Super Launch is officially set for July 9-11 in Omaha. Subscribe to the GPSL email list on https://t.co/4dxmMsvhe1 if you plan to attend.
