I’m in print(well my photo is)! In a real book! Written by a real expert! Thank you @CornishRockPool for February rock pooling fun. So glad we met & I could contribute to Rock Pool - Extraordinary Encounters Between the Tides
@WriterHannahBT#FirstBirdOfMyDay: most appropriately, as I walked out of the front door, a Chough flew over calling “Good morning & welcome to Cornwall”
@Deeside_Sparrow@WriterHannahBT We made an unscheduled stop at a pub in Devon & stayed over. The removals men headed out with our worldly goods the day before so hopefully it’s all safe & sound in Bodmin. We will be arriving in Cornwall a day late but that’s not a problem. Looking forward to some stormy seas
@WriterHannahBT An unscheduled overnight stop in Devon has resulted in #FirstBirdOfMyDay being three Jackdaws flying up & over the roof of the pub.
@WriterHannahBT#FirstBirdOfMyDay: six Magpies picking tidbits out of a lightly snowed on lawn. Bitterly cold out with a gin clear sky which still holds a brightly shining moon
@WriterHannahBT Special one today #FirstBirdOfMyDay: the unmistakable silhouette of a Red Kite cruising on a bitter wind with the full moon setting behind it - stunning
@WriterHannahBT#FirstBirdOfMyDay (& FBOMNY) a high speed dot zipping into the hedge. I’m going to say it was a Blue Tit. There’s a hard frost & a strong cold wind. All other bird life is tucked up, hidden from view. Happy New Year all
