The Reporters' Collective dug into UP's SIR data, and what they found is chilling.

The law says the Election Commission must publish every Form 6 application, down to the individual form, so anyone can check it.
UP's site shows 71.38 lakh applications.
But the final roll added 84.3 lakh voters.

So where did the extra voters come from? ECI mentioned once in a March press note that 16.18 lakh people applied before the draft list even came out.
It never published their names, their booths or their constituencies.

When reporters asked UP's chief electoral officer, he snapped : "We don't offer consultancy services." Then he cut the call.

And remember, the same report says that after 2.89 crore names were purged, BJP's UP leadership told booth workers to add back at least 200 voters per booth.
