HHR's thread of threads ๐งต
All of my threads in one place. I hope you find something helpful ๐๐ป
No matter what recommendations I or anyone else give out the #1 thing to do in your health journey is to address your diet/exercise/root cause first.
Supplements are supplemental.
๐ฅ HUGE WIN FOR PEPTIDES TODAY!
The FDAโs Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee just voted YES (8-6-1) to restore BPC-157 and KPV to the 503A Bulk Drug Substances list!
These powerhouse peptides โ restricted since 2023 over outdated safety concerns โ just took a massive step toward wider, legitimate access through compounding pharmacies. Public testimony from patients, physicians, and compounders was overwhelming, and the panel listened.
Why this matters:โจBPC-157 and KPV have shown real-world promise for tissue repair, gut healing, inflammation control, and recovery. Moving them back onto the 503A list removes major barriers so quality-controlled compounding can resume under proper oversight instead of the gray market.
Whatโs next:โจ
The committee is still voting on TB-500 and MOTS-c this afternoon, with DSIP, Semax, and Epitalon tomorrow. The FDA makes the final call (they usually follow PCAC recommendations), then formal steps to update the list.
This is momentum. Real access is coming. The future of regenerative peptides just got brighter. ๐

@BoJaxGOAT@mavonchain cellular messaging in areas that regulate tension in skeletal muscles, causing a delayed achiness.
That said it looks like it isn't dangerous, is dose dependent so dropping from 10+ to 5/2.5 seems to fix it, and it seems to go away on its own so the body probably adjusts itself
@BoJaxGOAT@mavonchain Tadalafil primarily works by functioning as an enzyme inhibitor. Specifically PDE5 and PDE11.
Although both contribute to it's overall effects it looks like PDE11 functions in/is found in high quantities in the back.
Downregulating PDE11 too far seems to cause issues in...

@JungleShrink Combining the zinc with a zinc ionophore such as quercetin may also be helpful. It allows the zinc to more readily penetrate your cells and helps to stunt/ shut down viral replication at the base level.
@JungleShrink Aside from what you're already doing, do you happen to own a nebulizer?
If so, nebulizing saline with a dilution of food grade hydrogen peroxide is the most effective solution I've found any time I've noticed I'm getting sick. (Especially with anything respiratory)
@tokenized_cro @BasedBiohacker Out of curiosity, if you're willing to share that is, what form of lion's mane were you taking?
The mushroom, a powder, an extract, etc?
And if one of the latter two what brand were you taking?
@tokenized_cro @BasedBiohacker Neither the 3 deciliters(6ish shots) of whiskey or the THC were primary factors to your conclusion?
I'd honestly lay off the psychoactive substances in general if I were you tbh.
You may have an underlying risk that may affect your last point negatively if your not cautious.
Oh lovely, reddit anecdotes.
I doubt few if any people taking actual reputable extracts have these effects.
Many supplements on the market aren't processed correctly, or contain lion's mane at all.
Brand selection should be THE priority for ANY supplement you put in your body.
i DO NOT fuck with lions mane.
potential side effects:
- complete loss of libido (sex drive)
- erectile dysfunction
- genital numbness
- severe depression and anhedonia
- rain fog and derealization
why? it's a POTENT hormonal disruptor (anti-androgen) - it seems to drastically lower DHT
and:
- NGF deregulation
- kappa opioid receptor agonism
- immune system over activation
- heavy metals are rampant
there's a community of 25,000 people (a lot of crazies in there as well) that neurotically struggle with after-effects for YEARS. even with the amount of retards on the internet, this is an outlier and an interesting case.
don't use lions mane.
@bowtiedbeehive@theNOBSdentist Of course consult a doctor if you're anxious but I wouldn't be personally. There are many people whose goal is to get their BP down to where your at now ๐๐ป
@bowtiedbeehive@theNOBSdentist This could be q temporary increase that goes down. Though, even if it's stable at 130/70 you should be good. 130 is normal in most countries and only high-normal for AHA standards. Unless you notice any odd symptoms or red flags on your blood work you shouldn't have to worry any.
@bowtiedbeehive@theNOBSdentist There can be a few reasons, but without additional health measures taken into account 130/70 isn't particularly concerning imo.
How quickly is your blood pressure taken after sitting down? In some cases just sitting for 5ish minutes before measuring can cause a significant drop.
The amount of attention men and women are willing to give to this, whether in outrage or support, is exactly why people continue to create this kind of content.
Imagine the metrics for an educational post.
The problem is enabled by the people who provide the attention.
