I graduated from law school with 6 digit debt in ‘96. I spent well over a decade paying it off. The idea that those with college debt will get their loans canceled? I’m thrilled about it! We need to root for relief for others, even if it doesn’t benefit us. Great stimulus, too!
Canceling student debt would literally be a relief program for our working & middle-classes. Why would anyone be against that? It’s a step in the right direction to rebuild a true middle class in America.
While we are at it, let’s make college tuition free.
