#worldmentalhealthday try to block out the negativity around us, often created unnecessarily by the media and limit the negativity you are taking in. Take time out for yourself and for some self care and do things you enjoy each day

#worldmentalhealthday Being around nature benefits mental health and wellbeing as does exercise.
Take a stroll outside, think about joining a walking group and enjoy some company at the same time.

It is shocking that anyone would think to attack a person with disabilities but it happens! With the ignorance of the media relaying incorrect information & giving the impression they are all scroungers living a life of luxury, it isn't really surprising! #disability #benefits

A former priest who established a "cult" within the Church of England has been found guilty of raping a woman in his congregation.
Chris Brain was also convicted of four counts of indecent assault against three other women who were part of the Nine O'Clock Service in Sheffield in the 1980s and 1990s.
The 69-year-old was found guilty of the offences after a retrial at Inner London Crown Court, having already been found guilty of 17 indecent assaults against nine women at a trial last year.

@relish_hendy @bbc5live @Ofcom This certainly needs correcting, so much out there being said is not true and little wonder that people with disabilities, mental health, are being given such a hard time when already struggling with life.

@BBCNews A shocking lack of care in some mental health units, the patients deserve better #mentalhealth A loss of life which should never have happened.

@Mikeo56977865 Sadly we are finding this is causing so much unnecessary stress to people with #disabilities #mentalhealth and people who are already struggling on a day to day basis. #benefits

Well done to Angela Rayner for explaining to Rachel Johnson that PIP isn't an out of work benefit, plenty of people who receive PIP are in work, and PIP enables them to do that

Some people who've been stuck for years on housing waiting lists are paying council workers in a frantic bid to speed up their long wait for a home.

When planning the week, remember to put in some 'me time' - some self care, doing something just for you, something you enjoy and look forward to doing. #selfcare
