The Battle of Goose Green was fought on the 28/29 May 1982, between British and Argentine Forces, during the Falklands War. A 14 hour struggle waged by 2 PARA, pitted against various sub units of the Argentine Army and Air force over nearly featureless, wind-swept and boggy ground, most of it in clear daylight and against entrenched defenders. 2 PARA were heavily outnumbered and lacked proper fire support. By all calculations they should have lost. But they didnt. The men who wore the Maroon Beret were victorious, over an enemy force twice their size and so set the tone for the engagements that were to follow in the push to Stanley, the capital of the Falklands.

3 PARA Support Company have been packing a punch during EX SWIFT RESPONSE in Estonia. Providing lethal firepower for the Rifle Companies as they push through their objectives. The Company consists of the Anti Tanks, Machine Guns and Mortar Platoon.

16 Air Assault Brigade Combat team, the British Armys Global Response Force, is leading a force of more than 2,300 soldiers, sailors and aviators from four countries working together in Estonia. The training is about @NATO Airborne Forces building their ability to respond to crisis together.
