What a wonderful, 4-days event, with outstanding talks, poster presentation and interaction with some of the best in the field @MRegueiroMD@IBDMD@MLongMD and others. So happy to be a part of #AIBD2023#IBD.
Grateful to have connected with @mdmanatee , aka Dr. Shark, at the AIBD conference. Your passion for swimming with and feeding sharks is truly captivating. Delighted to have met you and eagerly anticipating the opportunity for your mentorship. #AIBD2023#AIBD#ACG@SupradaVinyak
Loved the opportunity to present my research poster along side my colleague and good friend @SupradaVinyak. Grateful for the knowledge gained and inspired by the experts in the field. Look forward to more. #AIBD2023#AIBD2024
ICU pearls from night shift:
In a patient with GI bleed, other than finding the source/controlling it, IV access saves life.
A triple/quad lumen central line is not ideal for vol resuscitation. You need short, fat PIVs (14 or 16) or a MAC introducer.
Do you know that @AmCollegeGastro members have access to GI onDEMAND for free as part of your membership? Access GI sub-specialties to help find the right path forward for your patients!
