The Dnepropetrovsk maniacs are Ukrainian serial killers responsible for 21 murders in the summer of 2007.

The murderers, who met in school, used metal rods to brutally bludgeon their victims' heads, reaching a point where identifying the bodies became challenging due to the extent of the brutality.

They were caught after trying to sell a phone they'd stolen from one of their murder victims.

On 11 February 2009, Viktor Sayenko and Igor Suprunyuk were sentenced to life imprisonment.

Alexander Hanzha received nine years in prison because he wasn’t directly involved in the murders.
