@CaitlinERitas If Trump were the dictator you claim, you wouldn't be posting anything negative without repercussions.
While people keep referring to our government as a democracy, it doesn't change the fact that we are a constitutional republic.
@Hockey_HighLife Larkin can ask out. Yzerman doesn't have to trade him. And that crap team was in a rolling in the first half of the year until the captain stopped scoring. Larkin has played bad at the playoffs push the last 4 years. And he blames others.
@Hockey_HighLife@mjohnson998@ThatsALottaGs How is Yzerman not living up to the contract? Larkin has been paid, and Yzerman never asked Larkin to rescind his NMC. Nothing about the contract says he has to trade Larkin if Larkin asks.
@MithensKitchen@BigFudge734@The_Mexinadian The thing is, we don't know the value that is being offered and what will be accepted. But the Wings should hold until they get what they want.
@MithensKitchen@BigFudge734@The_Mexinadian I am not expecting Boldy in return. I would think that would be an overpay by the Wild. I personally would rather Larkin sit than traded to the Wild like he is trying to force.
@MithensKitchen@BigFudge734@The_Mexinadian He will sit him for the scraps the Wild has to offer. Larkin will have the choice of opening his trade options, playing for the Wings, or sitting out.
@recalltonal@WC_Autism@CoachBGonzo Why do you think Yzerman has no leverage? Larkin is under contract for 5 more seasons. Yzerman either gets an acceptable offer or Larkin stays. If Larkin doesn't show, he doesn't get paid.
@CoachBGonzo Honest question. Why does a Minnesota sports site care about the Larkin/Yzerman situation? Is it because you thought the Wild could get Larkin for scraps? Stop thinking about it. Detroit fans would rather Larkin sits than goes to the Wild for anything less than value.
@wildtwinviking@MNState0fHockey But because of the contract, Yzerman doesn't have to trade him. If nothing happens, Larkin has two choices, play and get paid, or sit out and don't get paid.
@wildtwinviking@MNState0fHockey I think he lost the 'C' the minute he asked for the trade. If Larkin wants out, he needs to remove all trade restrictions. If he is trying to force his way to MN, let him sit until you get what you want.
@wildtwinviking@MNState0fHockey His leverage is Larkin is signed for 5 years. Why would you trade for scraps when you can just sit the player and have the same result?
@MNState0fHockey@Go_outside38676 If Yzerman just gives in and moves Larkin for scraps, he loses the locker room anyway. I think more players will understand wanting what is best for the team over just dumping someone.
