Proud to see the vibrancy and patriotism of Vancouver on full display yesterday!
It's an honour to keep our fellow Canadians and visitors safe before, during and after a historic win.
Let's keep the positivity going, on and off the field, for Team Canada.❤️🇨🇦 #8 Ismaël Koné🇨🇦❤️
Warm thanks to the more than 200 volunteers who came out today to take part in the 2026 Chinatown Neighbourhood Cleanup.
DYK - Vancouver & the VPD turn 140 this year, but Chinatown was founded even earlier. There's never been a Vancouver without a vibrant & strong Chinatown.♥️
Heartbroken at the loss of retired Constable Brenda Burridge. For the better part of six years, I was blessed to work with her on a daily basis. An incredible partner on the job, a great cop and an even better friend. You will never be forgotten.♥️
Thanks to the Foundation for a Path Forward for hosting the third edition of Breaking Bread, Building Bonds. Bringing together leaders from our diverse faith and cultural communities is more important than ever. Respect, compassion and understanding are values we can all support!
Happy to take the plunge this weekend in support of Special Olympics BC. A huge thanks to all of the members of patrol team District 3 - Team 8 who showed up to take the plunge before shift then went out that night to work 12 hours on patrol ensuring public safety in our city.
My deepest thanks to the Police Scotland College for sharing their experience policing football (soccer). Seeing their professionalism, dedication and commitment to public safety was both educational and humbling. 🙏
Throwback Tuesday - It's hard to believe that it has been 25 years since I joined the Vancouver Police Department.
I've enjoyed all of the places I've worked, the incredible teammates and, most importantly, serving our community. #TimeFlies
"Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."

Thank you to the many volunteers, Pan Pacific staff and community organizations that make possible the magic that is the 38th Annual Christmas Wish Breakfast.
It's inspiring to see what can happen when our community works together for a great cause.
Thank you to the 98 volunteer members of the VPD Citizens' Crime Watch (CCW) who selflessly give their time to locate stolen vehicles, combat impaired drivers and identify criminal activity. For 39 years CCW has brought police and the community together to enhance public safety.
My deep thanks to all of the members of our community that took time to attend last night's community safety forum on extortions. Your vigilance and commitment to public safety is our first, and best, line of defence.
