Under the leadership of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) organised the Quetta sit-in, and the protest spread across different areas of Balochistan.
After days of dharna, Dr. Mahrang Baloch, along with other women and men, carried the funeral on her shoulder at New Kahan Graveyard, Quetta. They laid the children to rest not from life, but from the cruelty of a system that could not even protect their childhood.

- The same silence continues to protect power and in return , they ask us to remain calm.

How can Mahrang remain quiet when she carries not only the pain of one family, but the pain of an entire nation?
BYC is the Baloch people’s movement. Sentencing its leadership will not deter us, nor will it silence the voices that gave rise to it. A movement rooted in the people cannot be imprisoned.

This picture is from the Quetta dharna of 2021. An elderly Amma sits beside Dr. Mahrang Baloch. Mahrang holds her trembling hand and helps her raise a victory sign over the coffin of her grandchildren.
This Amma lost her two grandchildren, Allah Baksh and Sharatoon, when mortar shells fired by the Frontier Corps (FC) hit their home in Hoshab, Kech. Two innocent children were killed. Two small lives were turned into bodies. Two names were added to Balochistan’s long and unbearable register of wounds.
Their family first staged a protest with the children’s bodies at Turbat’s Fida Ahmed Chowk. From there, they marched to Quetta.

خاموشی کے خلاف اٹھنے والی ہر آواز کو سلام۔
مگر یہ یاد رکھنا چاہیے کہ یہ آغاز ہے، انجام نہیں۔
ہم دنیا بھر کے ان تمام صحافیوں، انسانی حقوق کے کارکنوں، دانشوروں، سیاسی رہنماؤں، تنظیموں اور باشعور انسانوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں جنہوں نے بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے رہنماؤں، ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور شاہ جی صبغت اللہ بلوچ، کو ایک جھوٹے مقدمے میں سنائی جانے والی عمر قید کی سزا کے خلاف اپنی آواز بلند کی۔
آپ کی آوازیں اس اندھیرے میں امید کی کرن ہیں۔ آپ کے بیانات، آپ کی تحریریں، آپ کی رپورٹس اور آپ کی سوشل میڈیا کیمپئن نے اس خاموشی کی دیوار میں دراڑیں ڈال دی ہیں جسے برسوں سے خوف، جبر اور سنسرشپ کے ذریعے قائم رکھا گیا ہے۔
مگر ہمیں یہ بھی جاننا ہوگا کہ یہ صرف ایک مقدمے میں دی جانے والی سزا کا معاملہ نہیں ہے۔ اسی نوعیت کے جھوٹے الزامات پر مبنی دیگر پچاس مقدمات بھی تنظیم کے رہنماؤں کو درپیش ہیں۔ گزشتہ بارہ دنوں سے وہ جیل کے احاطے میں تپتی دھوپ کے نیچے فیس لیس ٹرائل کے خلاف احتجاجی دھرنے میں بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں، مگر ان کی آواز اب بھی ایک حد تک ان سنی ہے، اور جبر اب بھی برقرار ہے۔
ہمیں یہ جاننا ہوگا کہ بلوچستان میں خاموشی کوئی اتفاقی کیفیت نہیں بلکہ ریاستی جبر کے ذریعے پیدا کی گئی ہے۔ یہ خاموشی خود پیدا نہیں ہوئی، بلکہ اسے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔ اسے برقرار رکھنے کے لیے صحافت کو جرم بنایا گیا، صحافیوں کو دھمکایا گیا، اغوا کیا گیا اور قتل کیا گیا۔ سیاسی کارکنوں کو جیلوں میں ڈالا گیا، انسانی حقوق کے کارکنوں کو ہراساں کیا گیا، سوشل میڈیا پر بولنے والوں پر مقدمات قائم کیے گئے، اور پورے سماج کو خوف کے حصار میں قید کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی۔
بلوچستان میں خاموشی کا سب سے بڑا نقصان یہ ہوا کہ ظلم کو معمول بنا دیا گیا۔ جبری گمشدگیاں بڑھتی رہیں، لاشیں گرتی رہیں، گھروں کے چراغ بجھتے رہے، مگر دنیا کی ایک بڑی تعداد بے خبر رہی۔ جب کسی سماج کی چیخیں سنائی نہ دیں تو ظالم کو مزید جرأت ملتی ہے، اور یہی بلوچستان میں ہوا۔
خاموشی کی وجہ سے ہزاروں خاندان آج اپنے پیاروں کے انتظار میں ہیں۔ خاموشی کی وجہ سے سینکڑوں مائیں اپنے بیٹوں کی تصویریں اٹھائے دربدر انصاف مانگ رہی ہیں۔ خاموشی کی وجہ سے سیاسی اختلاف کو جرم اور انسانی حقوق کی جدوجہد کو بغاوت بنا کر پیش کیا گیا۔ خاموشی کی وجہ سے بلوچستان کے بارے میں ایک ایسا بیانیہ تشکیل دیا گیا جس میں ہر بلوچ کو مشکوک، ہر سیاسی کارکن کو خطرہ، اور ہر احتجاج کرنے والے کو دشمن بنا کر دکھایا گیا۔
یہی خاموشی تھی جس کے سائے میں گزشتہ برسوں کے دوران ہزاروں جبری گمشدگیاں ہوئیں، سینکڑوں افراد ماورائے عدالت قتل کیے گئے، سیاسی کارکنوں کو سزائیں سنائی گئیں، اور پورے کے پورے خاندانوں کو اجتماعی سزا کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔
اگر دنیا نے پہلے سنا ہوتا، اگر آوازیں پہلے بلند ہوئی ہوتیں، اگر خاموشی کو پہلے چیلنج کیا گیا ہوتا، تو شاید بہت سی زندگیاں بچائی جا سکتی تھیں۔ شاید بہت سی مائیں آج اپنے بچوں کے لیے ماتم نہ کر رہی ہوتیں۔ شاید بہت سے نوجوان زندانوں اور عقوبت خانوں میں نہ ہوتے۔ شاید آج ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور بی وائی سی کے باقی ساتھی چودہ ماہ سے جیل میں نہ ہوتے۔ شاید آج انہیں عمر قید کی سزا نہ سنائی جاتی۔
اسی لیے آج خاموشی محض ایک اخلاقی ناکامی نہیں بلکہ ایک انسانی قیمت بھی رکھتی ہے۔ بلوچستان میں خاموشی کا مطلب مزید جبری گمشدگیاں ہیں۔ خاموشی کا مطلب مزید لاشیں ہیں۔ خاموشی کا مطلب مزید سیاسی انتقام ہے۔ خاموشی کا مطلب مزید ماؤں کی آہیں، مزید بہنوں کا انتظار اور مزید خاندانوں کی تباہی ہے۔
اسی لیے ہم دنیا بھر کے انصاف پسند انسانوں اور باشعور آوازوں سے کہتے ہیں:
بولتے رہیے۔
بولتے رہیے، کیونکہ خاموشی ظالم کا سب سے بڑا ہتھیار ہے۔
بولتے رہیے، کیونکہ آواز ہی مظلوم کا سب سے بڑا دفاع ہے۔
بولتے رہیے، کیونکہ جب دنیا خاموش ہوتی ہے تو جیلیں بھر جاتی ہیں،
اور جب دنیا بولتی ہے تو ظلم کی دیواروں میں دراڑیں پڑتی ہیں۔
ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ، شاہ جی صبغت اللہ بلوچ، بیبرگ بلوچ، گلزادی بلوچ، بیبو بلوچ اور دیگر سیاسی قیدی آج بھی آزادی کے منتظر ہیں۔ ہزاروں جبری گمشدہ افراد آج بھی اپنے خاندانوں سے دور ہیں۔ بلوچستان کی مائیں آج بھی انصاف کی منتظر ہیں۔
اس لیے آپ کی آواز کی ضرورت آج پہلے سے کہیں زیادہ ہے۔
آپ کی ایک پوسٹ، ایک مضمون، ایک تحقیقاتی رپورٹ، ایک بیان، ایک احتجاج اور ایک سوال بھی فرق پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔
ہم آپ کے شکر گزار ہیں کہ آپ نے خاموشی کا حصہ بننے سے انکار کیا۔
اب ہم آپ سے درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ اس آواز کو وقتی ردِعمل نہ بننے دیں بلکہ اسے ایک مستقل عہد، ایک مسلسل مزاحمت اور ایک عالمی انسانی تحریک میں تبدیل کریں۔
بولتے رہیے، جب تک سیاسی قیدی آزاد نہیں ہو
ہدہ جیل میں فیس لیس ٹرائل کے خلاف بی وائی سی رہنماؤں کی مزاحمت تیرہویں روز بھی جاری ہے۔
بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی
ہدہ جیل میں بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے قید رہنماؤں کی جانب سے ریاست کی مسلط کردہ فیس لیس عدالتی کارروائی، نام نہاد عدالتی عمل اور انصاف کے لبادے میں جاری ریاستی جبر کے خلاف مزاحمت تیرہویں روز بھی غیر متزلزل عزم کے ساتھ جاری ہے۔ یہ احتجاج صرف جیل کی چار دیواری کے اندر قید چند سیاسی کارکنوں کی مزاحمت نہیں، بلکہ ایک ایسے ریاستی ڈھانچے کے خلاف اعلانِ مزاحمت ہے جس نے عدالتوں کو انصاف کے مراکز کے بجائے جبر کے آلات میں تبدیل کر دیا ہے۔
گزشتہ روز جب بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کی وکلا ٹیم اور رہنماؤں کے اہلِ خانہ ملاقات کے لیے ہدہ جیل پہنچے تو جیل انتظامیہ نے ملاقات سے انکار کر دیا۔ انتظامیہ نے وکلاء کی ٹیم اور اہل خانہ دھمکایا کہ جب تک بی وائی سی کے رہنماء اپنا احتجاج ختم نہیں کرتے، وکلا اور اہلِ خانہ کو ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی۔ یوں ملاقات کے بنیادی انسانی اور قانونی حق کو کھلے عام بلیک میلنگ اور دباؤ کے ہتھیار کے طور پر استعمال کیا گیا تاکہ سیاسی قیدیوں کو اپنے اصولی مؤقف سے دستبردار ہونے پر مجبور کیا جا سکے۔
اہلِ خانہ اور وکلا کے احترام میں بی وائی سی کے رہنماؤں نے احتجاج کو بیرکس کے سامنے منتقل ضرور کیا، مگر اپنے آئینی، قانونی اور انسانی حقوق کے مطالبات سے ایک انچ بھی پیچھے ہٹنے سے انکار کر دیا۔ یہ مزاحمت اس حقیقت کا اعلان ہے کہ سیاسی شعور کو قید نہیں کیا جا سکتا، اور نہ ہی جیلیں، تنہائی، دھمکیاں یا ریاستی دباؤ حق اور انصاف کے مطالبے کو شکست دے سکتے ہیں۔
بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی اپنے رہنماؤں، اپنے عوام اور انصاف کے دفاع سے کسی بھی دباؤ، دھمکی یا جبر کے سامنے دستبردار نہیں ہوگی۔ ریاست جتنا اپنے جبر میں اضافہ کرے گی، اتنا ہی بلوچ عوام کی مزاحمت زیادہ منظم، زیادہ مضبوط اور زیادہ ناقابلِ شکست ہو کر آگے بڑھے گی۔

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی (بی وائی سی) کی 24 جون کی شٹر ڈاؤن ہڑتال کو بلوچ عوام نے تاریخی انداز میں کامیاب بنا کر ریاست کو دوٹوک پیغام دیا ہے کہ وہ بی وائی سی کی قیادت کے خلاف سنائے گئے غیر منصفانہ، متنازع اور سیاسی انتقام پر مبنی فیصلوں کو مکمل طور پر مسترد کرتے ہیں۔ بلوچستان کے طول و عرض میں عوام، تاجر برادری، سیاسی و سماجی تنظیموں، طلبہ، وکلاء اور مختلف عوامی حلقوں نے ہڑتال کو کامیاب بناکر ثابت کر دیا کہ ریاستی جبر اور انتقامی کارروائیوں کے ذریعے بلوچ عوام کے اجتماعی سیاسی شعور کو نہ دبایا جا سکتا ہے اور نہ ہی ان کی مزاحمت کو شکست دی جا سکتی ہے۔

پاکستانی ایجنسیوں نے ذاکر مجید کو 8 جون کو مستونگ، پڑنگ آباد سے حراست میں لیا، جو اب تک لاپتہ ہے۔ میں ذاکر مجید کی ماں، ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور شاہ جی کو دی گئی عمر قید کی سزا کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتی ہوں۔
ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ ہر وقت ہم بلوچ ماؤں کے ساتھ پریس کلب کے سامنے موجود رہی ہیں۔ انہوں نے لاپتہ افراد کے لیے کام کیا ہے۔ یہ سزا صرف انہیں نہیں دی گئی، بلکہ میں اور ہزاروں مائیں بھی اس سزا میں شامل ہیں۔ آپ نے ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ کو ہمارے سامنے سے لے جا کر سزا دی، اور ہمارے بچوں کو خفیہ طور پر اپنے فوجی اداروں میں سزا دی۔

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) strongly condemns the detention of poet and activist Ahmad Farhad under the MPO Ordinance in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The use of preventive detention laws against writers, activists, and dissenting voices is a blatant attempt to suppress freedom of expression and silence criticism.
BYC believes such actions reflect a broader pattern of intolerance toward dissent and shrinking political space. Arrests, intimidation, and legal pressure cannot silence demands for justice, accountability, and freedom.
We demand the immediate release of Ahmad Farhad and all those detained for peacefully exercising their rights, and urge human rights organizations and democratic forces to speak out against these violations.

A shutter-down strike is being observed in various areas of Surab following the central call of BYC. The protest is being held in response to the life imprisonment sentences handed down to Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Shah jee Baloch. Participants have raised concerns over the proceedings, noting that the legal team if BYC Leaders was not present and that the identities of the witnesses remain unknown.
The strike shows growing concerns regarding faceless trials and judicial proceedings conducted without transparency. Then such decisions appear to be driven by political motives rather than the principles of justice and due process.
Through this strike, people are expressing their demand for accountability, transparency, and the protection of fundamental legal rights, while emphasizing that decisions lacking openness and fairness only deepen public distrust in the justice system.

In protest against the life imprisonment sentences handed down to the detained leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, BYC Shaal Zone organized pamphleting, wall-chalking, and corner meetings today in the Hudda area of Quetta.
During the campaign, people were informed about the continued detention of BYC leaders and the life imprisonment sentences imposed on them. The aim of the campaign was to raise public awareness and engage people in discussions regarding the situation of the detained BYC leadership, as well as concerns about unjust trials and faceless judicial proceedings.
