Saying "we can agree to disagree" is for things like "Apple juice vs. Orange juice” NOT for things like racism, homophobia & basic human rights 😭 Tf be wrong with yall
someone said "if you don't let people experience the consequences of their actions towards u, you will remain a safe place for their worst behavior" and I couldn't agree more
No one is doing red carpet menswear like Colman Domingo. The details on this Boucheron parrot ear cuff and gradient feather drop earring are completely unmatched.
This man literally injected his wife with testosterone so that she would want to have sex with him more.
She loved to sing and part of her ministry was leading worship in their church. Testosterone changed her voice so she could not sing.
This is an evil man. A wolf. And he is not getting the hate he deserves. He married his mistress after his wife died and he somehow is still a pastor of a church. A total shame and disgrace.
It’s funny how we have spent months attacking an innocent man while we have this loser over here who is going by unscathed
This song in 1980 caused ripples in the Catholic Church to the extent that the Vatican asked the Bishops in DRC to intervene. Mobutu also stepped in to curb the spread of the song. Most of us black Africans who don’t speak Lingala did not know what the song was about until now that it is subtitled in English. This is a rendition of the original song, but the lyrics and music are unchanged. Happy Sunday Bazalwane
The first welcome I received in my shared house three years ago in the UK was when someone stole my jollof rice… and even helped themselves to fish and turkey from different bowls. Funny enough, I knew who it was, so I reported it to my landlord.
Do you know what this man told me?
“Don’t be too angry. Be happy you fed someone who was hungry. Your reward is in heaven.” I just looked at him and laughed, emi ika
So the next time I wanted to cook jollof rice, the thief entered the kitchen while I was cooking so I asked, “Do you mind jollof rice?” The remaining statement stayed in my head:
”…before you steal another plate🙄”
She said she doesn’t eat Nigerian food.
Me in my head: “don’t sha steal my rice”(mind you, She was Ghanaian.)
I cooked my rice, packed it into seven takeaway packs, and kept them in the fridge… i woke up the next morning…
Two packs had disappeared. Along with 3 pcs of big chicken…. That day, I didn’t report anybody.
I entered everybody’s section of the fridge and carried food. Milk. Snacks. Indian food I don’t even eat. Everything I saw..
One lady had just ordered Turkish food. She was microwaving it, went to have a shower.. I picked it up too entered my room, ate part of it, dusted my bed and slept peacefully.
My phone was vibrating nonstop. The house group chat was on fire.
“Who took my food?”
“Where’s my milk?”
“Who took my snacks?”
My landlord later messaged me privately to ask if I knew anything about it.
I told him, “They should be grateful they fed an orphan. Isn’t the reward in heaven?” Three days later, he installed CCTV in the kitchen. That’s how we all stopped feeding the orphanage.
My landlord will never forget me.
