The biggest in India & in top 10 big ports across the globe, the upcoming "Vadhavan Port" (deep-sea port project in the Palghar district of Maharashtra) should be named after the great Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. ๐ฎ๐ณ
@ShefVaidya Climbing up the social ladder is usually a result of performing well on parameters set by those who have no regard for our values. So our values don't matter. In fact, they maybe hurdles. A desi pandit can never rise up the (their) social ladder despite highest level of erudition
@RajivMessage Academia in India is a vicious self fulfilling cycle designed by insecure profs. At least 2 papers in random journals is a must for a PhD, and teaching. Building something from scratch is nothing compared to random papers!!
@ARanganathan72 Resignation in the name of accountability is inappropriate. You end up focusing on who went wrong, and not what went wrong. If the person doesn't correct the wrong, only then is resignation justified. With due respect, Shastriji probably set a bad precedent. ๐
@pbmehta If at all, there is improvement. When JEE leak was detected when I wrote it, nobody even apologized, forget punishment, strengthening the system etc. All that we remember is a re-exam and results.
@richaanirudh In 1997, when JEE had an impeccable record, the paper leaked and the exam got cancelled. I live with the pain of not having done well the second time. So many leaks over the decades. Which minister ever resigned for a leaked paper? This protest is crappy.
Someone is finally pointing at the possible reasons behind the ISRO exodus. Must be taken seriously and worked upon. This may also become the case with all PSUs.
Ex #ISRO Chairman Mr G Madhavan Nair just said on #CNN_News18 that undue interference of Babus of Delhi and offer of 5 to 10 times more salary by private start ups is the reason for 100+ scientists exiting from ISRO.
โMostโ of the Beaurocrates have left no stone unturned to destroy the country..

@iamankitpande Probably, it is high time, these companies start charging their customers for the convenience they offer them and pay the delivery guys well. Customers too must understand that seeking the lowest price is hurting someone in the ecosystem badly.
@PadmajaJoshi Though Delhi city is not very clean, the metro stations are very clean. So people's behavior changes with context. Get the context right first, and then ask for good behavior. Maybe we are putting the cart before the horse in demanding punishment like this?๐
