Unethical leaders rationalize their actions after the fact. Ethical leaders question their judgment in the moment.
Unethical leaders throw others under the bus. Ethical leaders stand in front of the bus.
#SundayThoughts
There’ll be good days and bad days. Sad days and happy days. There are some days where you’ll feel like you can achieve so much while other days make you feel completely useless. But there is never a day where you doubt that the Almighty wants only good for us! Trust Him!
Tomorrow is perhaps the most overrated word. Everyone wants to do something tomorrow; start praying tomorrow; change for the better tomorrow; get that piece of work done tomorrow. But you know what? Most of the time, it doesn’t happen! What if tomorrow never comes? Do it today!
When you ask the Almighty for something, never ever think for a moment that He cannot give it to you. Have firm faith in Him that He will do what’s best. He can turn your most hopeless, impossible situations to reality. All you need is a sincere call and utmost patience!
Being happy & being content are two different things. Happiness is fleeting, it comes & goes, comes mainly form the outside. Contentment comes from a deeper place. You’re at peace with what the Almighty has bestowed on you, no matter what your circumstances. You trust Him fully!
Make a commitment to a fresh start, a new beginning when #Ramadan ends. Give up at least one bad habit in this blessed month. Do it solely for the sake of the Almighty. All the good we have done should not come to an end with the end of the month. Hold on to them. Start anew!
Don’t fall into the trap of Satan who makes you believe that happiness comes with getting all that your heart desires. The more you have, the happier you’ll be? That’s a lie! In fact, it’s furthest from the truth. Happiness is appreciating all that you have been blessed with.
Remember, your end goal is Paradise. So everything that you’ve been doing during this blessed month of Ramadan should continue when the month ends. Don’t let up. Don’t make it a short-term goal. Paradise is the ultimate destination in this lifelong journey. Strive to get there.
Almighty. On this blessed day, we ask You to guide us to the best of manners. Grant us sound faith and conviction. Forgive all our sins; the small, the major, those done privately and openly. Grant our soul its strength and purify it for You have complete power over it! Aameen.
The trouble with us is too often we are so focused on what we hope the Almighty will do for us in the near future that we forget to see what He is doing right now. Trust Him because He’s doing a lot. He has a plan for each and everyone of us. Our job is to keep going.
As we enter the ten most blessed nights, include us among those who fasted this #Ramadan properly, attained the goodness of #LaylatulQadr & having made efforts to get closer to You! Guide us to make the most of the days left, raise our status & forgive all our sins. Aameen!
