It's Shark Week and we're celebrating and learning about sharks and all sorts of other fun stuff throughout the district. We hope you enjoy these photos of scientists, young and old, as much as we do 🙂 #CelebrateBDS#SharkWeek#handsonlearning@BayDistSchools

Attn: Teachers, the national guard will be taking over Surfside to house families that have lost their home in the storm. You may retrieve any personal items from 8:30-12:30 on Sunday, Oct. 14th. You may leave them in the science lab.
We are adding Thursday to the previously-announced school cancellations. We will await the passing of the storm before making a determination about Friday. The decision to cancel school isn’t made lightly but we know that countless families have heeded the warnings to evacuate.
All Bay District Schools will be closed Tuesday 10/9 and Wednesday 10/10 due to the approaching storm. We hope all of our families weather the storm safely. BDS employees check your email shortly for more info. #SafetyFirst
