Technically, Apple renames the processor name from "Apple processor" to "Apple M1" on macOS 11.1. Surge uses the name as one factor to generate a device hash for activating.
For Apple M1 devices owner, you will be asked to activate Surge Mac again after upgrading to macOS 11.1.
Please reset your license on https://t.co/XycwvLyOOt and then re-activate. It's a one-time issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
