We are highlighting Dr. Franciele Regiane Rohden from the General Pediatric Hospital “Niños de Acosta Ñu” in Paraguay. In 2023, Dr. Rohden completed a six-month training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Imaging at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid, Spain.

hese artificial valves have saved countless lives by replacing damaged or diseased heart valves, restoring normal blood flow and heart function. Advances in prosthetic valve technology continue to enhance the outcomes for children and adults with CHDs.
But don’t go overboard, as too much of a good thing can be bad for you. And don’t forget to eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and check your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
