Note from Darlene Bennett:
Hi, everyone – it’s hard to believe it’s been six months since we announced the successful gathering of almost 43,000 signatures from Surrey residents, calling for a referendum on the future of policing in our city.

Throwback to our successful signature collection. We have some of the most dedicated supporters (that we can’t thank enough) for collecting 42,942 signatures that are now with Elections B.C.
According to the Fourth Quarter Crime Stat Report 2021, Violent Crimes, Property Crimes, total Criminal Code offences, and Drug and Substances crimes went down in Surrey. These stats demonstrate how hard Surrey RCMP work to keep our communities safe.

Date saved – we encourage everyone who can make it, to attend the Surrey RCMP’s Open House after two long years. What a great opportunity to meet officers from the different specialized teams that make up Surrey RCMP.
Save The Date: Surrey RCMP’s Open House is back after a 2 year hiatus. Join us on Saturday, May 14 from 12-3pm at Main Detachment. Come out and join us at this free family event. We look forward to meeting you.
Mark your calendars – Doug McCallum’s pre-trial conference is April 11.

Thank you to Surrey RCMP for their continued commitment to Surrey and keeping Surrey safe. Here's the Community Response Unit out and about, engaging with community members about their concerns.
Our D3 Community Response Unit organized a Pop Up Detachment at Newton Rec Centre. CRU promoted Lock it or Loose it, Block Watch & provided anti-theft screws in a measure to deter theft from auto. The public was also able to engage with CRU about various community concerns.
✅Reflective of the community
