Iโve had the PLEASURE of reading these gorgeous picture books. Iโd love to donate them to a Primary School.
Please Retweet & Like & Follow for a chance to win them all๐คโค๏ธ
Giveaway closes Saturday noon. Iโll pick a random winner ๐ ๐ฆ ๐
Year 1 @PrincecroftPri had the BEST school trip today at @SalisburyCath. Thank you to all of the tour guides that gave such an enriching and informative tour. The children are all desperate to return and canโt wait to take home their medieval tiles (once theyโve air-dried)!
@PrincecroftPri HAD the best day with the legendary poet @chriswhitepoet. My Year 1โs experienced his amazingness first hand, and this then led to them wanting to create their own โfunnyโ independent poem to perform in front of the whole school. Thank you for inspiring them ๐๐ป!
If anyone has any links to Midsomer Norton/Radstock/Frome/Bristol, our cat has been missing for a month now ๐ and we are missing him like crazy. Any possible sightings would be appreciated ๐ฅ.
Weirdly, I lost my voice and WOWโฆIโve never encountered such a kind, caring and reassuring group of 5-6 year olds๐ฅฐ.
โKeep drinking Miss Surridge, you need it!โ
โOooh! You sound like a chicken.โ
โI have tablets at home, Iโll bring you one in tomorrow.โ
๐I adore my class๐
My eldest is in year 1 and has had two incredible teachers in his little school life so far - @L_Batch7 and @SurridgeMiss combined with @SWLiteracy are making a real little reader out of him โบ๏ธ๐
Progress 8 is out for 2023!
We are very pleased. โบ๏ธ
But as ever, I am always most proud of who our children are as people.
Kind, polite, hard-working, decent.
But the 2.37 Progress is pretty nice too! โบ๏ธ
Year 1 maths focus this week: โNumber bondsโ.
The children will be using their knowledge of using part part whole models to show the relationship between a whole number and itโs parts!
The โmore or lessโ monsters were a hit with the children! A great opportunity for them to independently consolidate their understanding of numbers and place value.
The children loved revisiting the /ae/ sound today in the provision. As a challenge, they were asked to write sentences using the words they categorised. Pictures of their sentences will be posted tomorrow ๐.
