I am guilty of not paying attention to the difference in treatment of black and white people. Rodney King was my first wake-up call. I was outraged but I didn't take any action. We all need to realize that by doing nothing, we are condoning this behavior.

@rickygervais Do you have jokes for Stage IV breast cancer? I'm serious. I have it and I like medical and death jokes. I'm 65, have had 10 surgeries, lost a 3 year old to bone cancer, had a horrible divorce, and built the house of my dreams for my retirement.

@CherrylEshelby @rickygervais I had a lumpectomy 5 years before the cancer. My boobs are now two different sizes. I like to think of it as options.

Part 3. I've had the cancer for nearly 4 years and feel pretty good due to the meds and I'm a positive person. I've had people say, "Wow, nothing gets you down." I respond, "The cancer will put me 6ft down."I need a better funny response. This one freaks people out.

Part 2. After 3 years, I then found out I had breast cancer making me move to be near my daughter for assistance. Stage IV means the cancer is no longer in your breasts. Mine is now in my bones, one lung, and just radiated 5 tumors in my brain.
