We know many of you are looking forward to verification - and we’re stepping closer to that moment.

This process is designed to be structured, transparent, and fair, ensuring every qualified Human Node moves forward with clarity. Here’s how the flow will work:

Phase 1: Matching
You begin by tapping “Match Curator.”
An anonymous list will appear, and you can choose a curator to match with.
After selecting, you enter the matching state and wait to be successfully picked. Once picked, your application advances to the submission stage.

Phase 2: Submission
When it’s your turn, a strict 24-hour countdown will start.
You must complete and submit your documents within this time. Missing the deadline may move you to a later pool, delaying your progress.
There are 3 submission levels. After completing all required steps, you press Submit, and your status changes to In Review.

Phase 3: Verification Process
This is the last stage - your application will be reviewed carefully.
This process is more than a technical update - it’s a defining milestone before full verification rollout.

Prepare early. Understand each phase.
Be ready when your turn comes!

Around 2012, I was struggling to find my place in tech.

Then Facebook posted a photo of its engineering team and I saw a Black engineer who looked like me.
I later learned he was Nigerian. His name was Ola.
That moment made the dream feel possible.
I kept that photo as my screensaver for 3+ years. Every time I felt like quitting, I reminded myself:
“If he can do it, why not me?”

And after 14 years, I finally get to meet him.

I cried watching this.
She lost her leg. And still got up every morning, applied, prepared, showed up.
Finally got a job. The one she had been waiting for.

And when she resumed, Nigeria happened.
Network cut off and just like that. Contract ended.

Not because she wasn’t qualified. Not because she didn’t work hard enough. Because MTN and Airtel could not let her have this one moment.

This broke my heart because how many of us have been here? Hustling so hard, finally getting our chance and then light goes, network fails, generator runs out of fuel, right at the most important second.

We are not lazy. We are not incompetent. We are just trying to survive and build in a country that makes everything 10 times harder than it needs to be.

To her, you are still inspiring. Nigeria happened but Nigeria has not won.
