Another positive development from this horrible crime is that there has been very little coverage of the loser who did it, but tons of glowing coverage about Jordan Salinas for helping stop it.

In addition to sending would-be mass shooters the message that there might be someone shooting back to ruin their planned moment of infamy, it also shows that their oft-desired fame will also go to the person who stopped them instead.

This is the antidote to stop a large portion of mass shootings before they ever occur. Make them afraid they will be stopped quickly by an armed citizen on the scene, and that they will be forgotten.

States that interfere with this by trying to make it legally impossible to carry at so many places (even when you have a carry permit!) are aiding and abetting mass shooters.
